router) if they have been turned off and the Impaq
3000 Mk. 2 has also been disconnected from the
power supply.
The receiver requires a network connection for the Inter-

Television/projector
You can connect a television set and/or projector to the

Digital video and audio signals via an HDMI cable.

Analogue component picture signal via a triple RCA
cable. When connecting, pay attention to the colour of
the jacks (green, blue and red). The sound is emitted via
the RCA jacks

The HDMI inputs cannot be used when connected via one
of the other outputs.
Inputs for source devices
The receiver has two inputs for digital HDMI picture and
audio sources (HDMI 1 + 2). An optical and coaxial
digital audio input as well as three analogue audio inputs
are also available (AUX IN 1–3).
You can connect the audio output of your television set to
one of these inputs to enjoy receiver sound when watch-
ing television shows. Consult the operating instructions of
your television for this.

25 HDMI 1 and 2
You can connect a source device with a digital picture
and audio signal to each of these. You will need a HDMI
cable for this.
Important
You can only use these HDMI inputs if the
playback device (TV or projector) is connected
via HDMI.
20COAXIAL IN
You can connect the coaxial digital sound output of a
source device here. You will need a coaxial cable with
RCA plugs for this.
19 OPTICAL IN
Here you can connect the optical digital audio output
of a source device. You will need an optical cable with
a TOSLINK plug for this purpose. Your source device
requires either an optical 3.5 mm plug or a TOSLINK
plug as well.
18 AUX IN 1 to 3
Here you can connect one source device with analogue
sound each. You will need a dual RCA cable (L and R) for
this.
