Mounting the lower tensioning pulley support (view: fan side;

Mounting the lower belt tensioner
Check the mountery surfaces for even-
ness and clean them.
Fasten the tensioning pulley support (1)
loosely. Make certain the washer (2) is not
resting on the welding seam.

Remove the belt tensioner of the fastening
screw (1).
Remove the protection coating (2) without
damaging the mountery surface.
Loosely screw on the belt tensioner (3) on
the tensioning pulley support (4).

Aligning the generator and setting it down
Align the V-belt pulley of the generator to
the engine. To do this, place the ruler on
the V-belt pulleys (1) and (2).
Do
not
tighten the generator plate's fas-
tening screws! Mark the position of the
generator plate so that you will be able to
align it in this position later.
Tighten all fastening screws of the genera-
tor onto the generator plate enough so that
the generator can no longer slip.
Let down the generator again to attach the
shielding plate.
