Operation
1. Remove the grill grate (2). Then
remove the temperature control (5)
up from the grill support (10), and
then pull it back with the heating
element (3) and remove it.
2. Approx. 1 liter of cold water can be
poured into the drip pan (7) to prevent
excessive smoke while grilling.
3. Refill water if the water level drops
while grilling. When doing so, make
sure that no water gets onto the
heating element.
4. Fit the heating element and the
temperature control back onto the grill
support by following the steps in
reverse. When doing so, it is
important that the temperature control
is fitted correctly into the recess (11)
of the grill holder (10). The safety
switch (brown) must be pushed in
completely. Otherwise the appliance
cannot be switched on.
5. Set the grill grate into one of the grill
grate supports (8). Three basic
positions are available for the grilling
intensity. Insert the grill grate into the
respective position.
Openings (8a):
High grill position
Openings (8b):
Low grill position
Openings (8c):

The principle is that the heat applied
to the food decreases as the height of
the grill grate is increased. When
changing the position, always first
switch off the grill and hold the grill
grate with heat-insulated kitchen
gloves or pot holders. Also pay
attention to the cooking times.
6. The supplied grill grate handles (1)
also can be used to remove the grill
grate. Hook the grill grate handles
into the grill grate on the cross
members to remove or replace the
grill grate. The handles should be
removed during grilling, as they
become very hot. Only touch the
handles only with grill gloves when
the grill is hot.
7. Connect the mains plug (6) to a
suitable socket.
8. The appliance should be heated for
approx. 10 - 15 min before the start of
grilling.
