6. Connect battery charger into machine as shown.
Flip up hood support stand and rest hood on stand
to promote ventilation (Figure 24).

7. The charger will automatically begin charging and
shut off when fully charged.
ATTENTION: Do not disconnect the charger’s DC
cord from the machine’s receptacle when the
charger is operating. Arcing may result. If the
charger must be interrupted during charging,
disconnect the AC power supply cord first.
WARNING: Fire Or Explosion Hazard.
Batteries Emit Hydrogen Gas. Keep Sparks And
Open Flame Away. Keep Battery Compartment
Open When Charging.
8. After charging, check the electrolyte level (A)
again. The level should be approximately 1 cm
from the bottom of the fill--port (B) (Figure 25).
Add distilled water if needed. DO NOT OVERFILL.

MACHINE MAINTENANCE
To keep the machine in good working condition, simply
follow the daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly
maintenance procedures.
WARNING: Electrical Shock Hazard.
Disconnect Battery Cables Before Servicing
Machine.
DAILY MAINTENANCE
(After Every Use)
1. Remove the burnishing pad and clean or replace
(Figure 26).

2. Empty or replace the dust control bag. Remove
the bag clip to empty bag (Figure 27). Do not allow
bag to fill beyond half full.
