3. Clean the machine with an all purpose cleaner and
damp cloth (Figure 28).
FOR SAFETY: When cleaning machine, do not
power spray or hose off machine. Electrical
malfunction may occur.

4. Recharge the batteries after a total of 30 minutes
of use or more (See CHARGING BATTERIES).
WEEKLY MAINTENANCE
(Every 20 Hours of Use)
With an air pressure hose, blow out the dust that
collects inside the pad driver motor. This will
prolong the life of the motor.

MONTHLY MAINTENANCE
(Every 80 Hours of Use)
1. Check the fluid level in each battery cell
(See BATTERY MAINTENANCE).
2. Clean the battery tops of corrosion
(See BATTERY MAINTENANCE).
3. Check for loose or corroded battery cables.
4. Lubricate the caster with a water resistant grease.
5. Check the machine for loose nuts and bolts.
6. Check the condition of the dust skirt, replace if
worn (Figure 30).

QUARTERLY MAINTENANCE
(Every 250 Hours of Use)
Check the drive transaxle motor, the vacuum motor
and the brush motor for carbon brush wear. Replace
carbon brushes when worn to a length of 10 mm
(0.38 in) or less (Figure 31).
Contact an Authorized Service Center for machine
repairs.
FOR SAFETY: When servicing machine, all repairs
must be performed by a qualified service person.
WARNING: Electrical Shock Hazard.
Disconnect Battery Cables Before Servicing
