Install wheel segments

WARNING

Before servicing, turn off the main disconnect to the

unit and use site specific lockout-tag out procedure.

1. Position one empty wheel segment bay at the

top of the wheel, and open the two segment

retaining latches.

Note:

The face of the segment with the

embedded stiffener must face the motor

side of the wheel.

2. From the pulley side, slide the wheel segment

into place nose first. Push the outer portion of

the segment into the wheel frame.

3. Use a 3/16 in. Allen wrench to install the nose

bolt to secure the wheel segment to the hub.

4. Close the segment retaining latches on the

outer corners of the wheel segment to secure

it inside the wheel.

5. Rotate the first segment 180° to install the

opposing wheel segment to rebalance the

wheel.

6. Repeat until all of the remaining wheel

segments are installed, ensuring balance

throughout the procedure.

7. Apply power to the wheel and confirm proper

rotation.
