Electrical data
The rooftop unit requires both power and control
wiring. Power and control wiring must be field
provided and installed.
Power and control wiring MUST conform to the
latest edition of the National Electrical Code® (NEC)
NFPA 70 or local codes and regulations. Power
supply to the unit must be NEC Class 1 and comply
with applicable local codes.
CAUTION
Copper conductors MUST be used for power wiring.A
disconnect switch MUST be installed (factory option
available).
Internal wiring harnesses furnished with the unit
are an integral part of the design certified unit. Field
alterations to comply with local codes should not be
needed. If any factory wiring needs to be replaced,
it must be of the same wire type and gauge as the
original factory wire.
CAUTION
Field power wiring connected to the incoming power
termination point must be copper conductor only.
Aluminum wire cannot be connected to the incoming
power termination point.
