STANDARDS FOR ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION
At the end of the operating life the motor must not be thrown as common waste, but must be
scrapped in a special container for the recycling of electrical and electronic material; this is
highlighted by the symbol of the barred trash can placed on the plate of the motor itself.
Depending on its intrinsic characteristics, the materials that make up the motor could be
recyclable, it is therefore recommended in case of demolition to differentiate the parts
according to their nature and in any case to comply with the relevant local
directives.
Waste recycling and other forms of electrical and electronic material
management make an important contribution to environment protection. To
obtain information on the nearest collection point it is advisable to contact the
relevant bodies.
