Use the TELKOM ADSL 5100’s LAN IP address when configuring from the LAN.
9.1.3 System Timeout
There is a system timeout of five minutes (three hundred seconds) for either the console port or
telnet/web/FTP connections. Your TELKOM ADSL 5100 automatically logs you out if you do
nothing in this timeout period, except when sys studio has been changed on the command line.
9.2 Telnet
You can configure your TELKOM ADSL 5100 for remote Telnet access as shown below.
9.3 FTP
You can upload and download TELKOM ADSL 5100 firmware and configuration files using FTP.
To use this feature, your computer must have an FTP client.

You can use the TELKOM ADSL 5100’s embedded web configurator for configuration and file
management. See the online help for details.
