Camera-Specific Advanced Acquisition Notification APIs

This section provides programming information for camera-specific advanced
acquisition notification APIs.

7.4.15.1

PicamAdvanced_RegisterForAcquisitionUpdated()

Description

PicamAdvanced_RegisterForAcquisitionUpdated()

registers a function to call

during data acquisition when:

•

New data are available, or

•

A change in acquisition status has occurred.

NOTE:

Multiple functions may be registered. When this is the case,
the functions are called in the order in which they have
been registered.

Callbacks are called asynchronously from another thread, but are serialized on that
thread. This means that additional notifications do not occur simultaneously, but occur
after each callback returns.
Call

PicamAdvanced_UnregisterForAcquisitionUpdated()

to unregister each

callback once it is no longer required.

Syntax

PicamAdvanced_RegisterForAcquisitionUpdated()
