Taking Automatic

Measurements

The oscilloscope can take automatic measurements of most displayed signals.

NOTE.

If a question mark (?) appears in the Value readout, the signal is outside

the measurement range. Adjust the Vertical Scale knob of the appropriate channel
to decrease the sensitivity or change the Horizontal Scale setting.

To measure signal frequency, period, and peak-to-peak amplitude, rise time, and
positive width, follow these steps:
