Set frame
count
5. Click Frame Count, and enter the number of frames to
acquire per waveform record.
Frame count is the number of acquisitions to store in the
acquisition memory of the channel. The oscilloscope will
set the record length to a value greater than or equal to
the product of the frame count and the frame length. If
the product of the record length and the frame count
exceeds the available memory, the oscilloscope will
reduce the record length or frame count in size such that
the product will fit the amount of memory available.
Available memory is a combination of acquisition
memory and system memory.

6. In the Frame Viewing controls, click Source and select
the source of the frame you want to view.
7. In the Frame Viewing control, click Frame and use the
general purpose knob or keypad to enter the number of
the specific frame you want to view. The frame that you
select appears on the display.

n the Frame Viewing controls, click Multiple Frames to
select Overlay.

In the Frame Viewing control, click StartFrame and use
the general purpose knob or keypad to enter the number
of the first frame in the frame sequence that you want to
view.

In the Frame Viewing control, click # of Frames and use
the general purpose knob or keypad to enter the total
number of frames that you want to view.
The frames within the range that you selected are
displayed superimposed over each other in the color of
the Source channel. The Selected Frame is also
superimposed on the display of frames, but in a dark
blue color for easy identification. (You may find it difficult
to distinguish the dark blue Selected Frame if you have
selected Spectral or Temp for the Color Palette.)
Use Time Stamps to display the absolute trigger time for a specific frame and the
relative time between triggers of two specified frames. To use FastFrame
Time Stamps, do the following steps:
