4. Close the protective cover.

5. Press the REPEAT button several times until the spot moves to the

right-most vertical graticule line.

6. CHECK that the digital multiplier reading is within the range specified in

Table 5–14 for each STEP/OFFSET AMPLITUDE setting from 200 mV to
1 V.

7. Press the step generator INVERT button to turn invert on.

8. CHECK that the digital multiplier reading is within the range specified in

Table 5–14 for each STEP/OFFSET AMPLITUDE setting from 200 mV to
1 V.
