Zone number can be increased to 8 by zone doubling feature.

You make zone doubling by using 1k

and 2

kΩ resistors connected to zone as following picture. Zone doubling is enabled in Zone Wiring section of

Installer Program. Each physical zone can be used as 2 zone by zone doubling.  Contact  types(NC,NO) of
zones  can  be  configured  from  their  addresses.  Zone  doubling  feature  can’t  be  used  together  with  zone
expansion module.
