G
ATTENTION
If the piping is guided to the rear right, the piping has to be mounted together with the indoor
unit, through the drilled hole.
e.
Guide the piping, the power cable and the condensed water hose through the hole in the wall.
f.
Connect the refrigerant piping, the power cables and de condensed water hose to the indoor unit
(2x). See chapter 7, 8, 9 and 10.
g.
Place the outdoor unit, see chapter 4.2.
h.
Connect the piping and the power cable to the outdoor unit. See chapter 10.
G
ATTENTION
The refrigerant piping coming form the indoor units TSM825 and TSM832 can be connected to
one of the valve groups in random order. The air conditioner is programmed in a way that the
device will detect which indoor unit is connected to a certain valve group.
Note: If the refrigerant piping of an indoor unit is connected on valve group A, the electrical
connection between indoor and outdoor unit must be connected to terminal block A of the
outdoor unit.
i.
Connect the power supply to the outdoor unit. See chapter 9 and 10.
j.
Vacuum the refrigerant circuits. See chapter 11.
k.
Check the refrigerant circuits for leaks. See chapter 12.
l.
Check if the entire installation has been done correct.
m.
Switch the supply voltage on and check the air conditioner. See chapter 14.
4. POSITIONING OF THE INDOOR AND OUTDOOR UNIT
4.1 Positioning of the indoor unit
•
Don’t expose the indoor unit to direct heat or steam.
•
Choose a place without obstacles in front or around the unit.
•
Make sure the condensed water can be drained to a lower point at all times.
•
Don’t position the unit near a door.
•
Make sure that there is at least 12 cm free space to the left and the right of the unit. See Picture 4
•
Use a locator to trace piping or electrical cables to avoid unnecessary damaging the wall.
•
The indoor unit has to be installed against the wall on a height of at least 2.3 meter above the floor.
See Picture 4
•
The indoor unit has to be installed with a minimum distance of 15 cm between the unit and
the ceiling. See Picture 4
•
The indoor unit must be mounted level.
•
Consider de possible positions of the outdoor unit when positioning the indoor unit. The piping and
cables of indoor and outdoor unit have to be connected.
G
ATTENTION!
Besides the parts mentioned above, other parts necessary during the installation have to be
purchased by the buyer of the air conditioning.

3. ACTIVITIES PRIOR TO THE INSTALLATION OF THE AIR CONDITIONER
a.
Determine the position where the indoor unit (2x) and outdoor unit will be installed. See chapter 4
and 5. It is not necessary to connect all parts of the indoor unit.
b.
Mount the mounting plate of the indoor unit (2x). See chapter 6.1.
c.
Drill a hole for the piping of each indoor unit. See chapter 6.2.
d.
Place the indoor unit, with the hooks at the back, on the upper hooks of the installation plate and
check if the unit is secure. Don’t engage lower hooks at this moment.
