3.2 GENERAL SAFETY WARNINGS

3.2.1 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

All the safety equipment located on the mobile elements to prevent accidents and protect safety cannot be modified or removed and must
always be adequately safeguarded.
The user must immediately inform the employer or his direct superior of any defect or anomalies in the mobile elements.

SAFETY
3.2 GENERAL SAFETY WARNINGS

3.2.2 CHECKS & INSPECTIONS

Parts subject to wear must be checked as indicated in the specific chapter in this manual.
Whenever parts that are worn or defective are not replaced in a timely manner, the manufacturer shall not be liable for any damages

from accidents that could occur.

Inspections must be performed by experts and they must be visual and functional in order to ensure the safety of the machine. They

include:

1.

Inspection of all structures, which must not show any cracks, breakage, damage, deformation, corrosion, wear or alterations
compared to their original characteristics;

2.

Inspection of all mechanical organs;

3.

Inspection of all the safeties installed;

4.

Inspection of all the connections with pins and screws;

5.

Operational inspection of the machine;

6.

Inspection of the machine condition.

CAUTION!

If any anomalies are detected, they must be eliminated before operating the machine and the expert who performs the

inspection must note the repair on the card, thus giving approval for use of the machine.

The results of this inspection must be reported on a card.

If the person performing the inspection finds cracks or dangerous anomalies, he must immediately notify the machine manufacturer.
Put the machine out of service whenever there are operating anomalies and perform all inspections and/or repairs.

In order to ensure maximum safety when handling the machine, the following is prohibited:

1.

Tampering with parts of the machine;

2.

Using the machine when not operating at complete efficiency;

3.

Modifying the machine to change the originally established use without the express authorization of the manufacturer or without
assuming complete responsibility.

INTENDED USE ILQMI STANDARD VERSION

The hydraulic magnet is designed to lift ferromagnetic materials when installed on truck cranes, self-propelled

loaders

, excavators, forklifts,

etc.

It is for professional use only.

It is intended to be used by a person in possession of knowledge and experience in the use of systems of this type, without limitations in
physical and mental capacity, and with no sight damage

.

SAFETY

3.4

INTENDED USE ILQMI-T VERSION

The ILQMI-T version includes the presence of teeth in addition to the hydraulic magnet. The magnet can therefore be used to lightly dig on
loose surfaces in order to find hidden or buried pieces of metal. It can also be used to mix materials such as ferrous metals and crushed
concrete.
The T version absolutely

cannot

 be used as a means of digging as a bucket. Pressure and stress from the excavator arm are so strong, they

will damage the magnet immediately.
