Maintenance

GENERAL MAINTENANCE OF A SPRAYING DEVICE

To protect the machine's circuitry with an "antifreeze":

• Clean the sprayer thoroughly: use a cleaning product approved for your material.
• Rinse the device using clear water and operate until the tank is completely empty.
• Pour 50 litres of clear water and 20 litres of antifreeze into the rinse tank via the suction circuit.
• Transfer the mixture from the rinse tank into the main tank using the Lav'tons.
• Shake for a few minutes.
• Rinse the induction bowl by operating the suction circuit in a closed loop with the main tank. Remember to

activate the LAV'BOX and rinse hose or the rinse boom inside the hopper or use a rinse pistol.

• If your equipment is provided with on board options (i.e. pressure house + drum) spray through them for a

few minutes while rinsing the equipment and adding anti-freeze.

• If your boom is equipped with AGP, allow the liquid to circulate in the boom for a few minutes. Then spray

the liquid until the entire boom sprays the coloured liquid for a few seconds.

• If your boom is not equipped with AGP, spray the liquid until the entire boom sprays the coloured liquid for a

few seconds.

• you can recover the remaining product by draining the main tank.
• Do not empty, leave the device as it is.

• Before putting a piston-membrane pump back into operation at temperatures beneath 0° C,

loosen the pump by turning it by hand in order to avoid any ice particles damaging the pistons

and membranes.

• Keep the pressure gauge and all electronic accessories out of the cold!

• Clean the casing completely using a high pressure cleaner.
