Powered by Battery
The oximeter can be powered by 4 pieces 1.5V LR6 AA alkaline batteries. A new set
of batteries can provide up to 48 hours of general operation, or about 24 hours of
operation with the backlight and alarm on. The oximeter does not support built-in
recharging mode.
The oximeter also can be powered by 4 pieces 1.2V Ni-H rechargeable batteries.
Battery Installation
To install batteries:
1. Make sure the oximeter has been turned off.
2.
Pull the battery compartment cover downward toward the bottom of the
oximeter, and remove it.
3. Install 4 AA batteries according to the indications on battery compartment of the
oximeter.
4. Replace the battery compartment cover.
Low Battery Icon
The Low battery icon displays and alarm is given when few minutes operation
remains available. After few minutes operation, the oximeter will turn off
automatically. Replace the batteries.
