If you have selected an Open (unsecured) Network, you are automatically connected to
the Network. If you have selected a Secured Network, enter the Password and select
Done to establish a connection.
When your phone is connected to a wireless network, the Wi-Fi icon appears in the
Notification Bar and indicates the approximate signal strength (number of bands that
light up). If the Network notification in the Wi-Fi settings is enabled, this icon appears in
the Notification Bar whenever the phone detects an available wireless network within
range.
Next time you use your phone to detect Wi-Fi Networks, you will not be prompted to
enter the
Network Key
of the previously accessed Wi-Fi Network (unless you perform a
”Hard Reset” which will erase any custom settings on your phone).
Using the Browser
You can start up the Browser to enable you to access the Internet. Some web pages
may not be displayed properly as some specific web pages require specific programs for
it to be displayed properly such as Flash which is not supported by the phone.
