    Note: Emergency calls can always be made without a PIN code.

Using a screen lock to protect your phone

Locking the screen can prevent accidental contact with the screen when the phone is in 

a bag, purse or pocket.

 

1. Press the 

Power ON/OFF

 button to lock the screen.

 

2. To unlock the screen, press the 

Power ON/OFF

 button then slide the padlock  

 

    icon to the right.

Creating and enabling the screen unlock pattern

 

1. Press the 

Menu

Set screen lock

 >  

 

    

Pattern 

to enter into the settings options.

 

2. Follow the instructions on the screen and connect at least four points together, 

 

    the phone will record the pattern, select 

Confirm

.

 

3. To unlock your phone draw the screen unlock pattern again then select 

Confirm

.

 

    Note: If you fail to draw the correct unlock pattern five times on the screen, the  

 

    screen will prompt you to wait 30 seconds before you can try again.
