11.5 Reception

In order to receive a satellite signal, the vehicle must be parked in such a way that the satellite system has a clear view of the

satellite in the direction of the equator. Make sure that there are no obstacles, such as buildings or trees in front of the antenna

as these may reduce the quality of signal reception.

Electrical or magnetic fields near the antenna may affect reception.

The use of non-insulated plugs will result in a loss of signal strength.

The satellite signal may be temporarily affected due to heavy rainfall.

Snow on the antenna can reduce the satellite signal strength; snow should therefore be removed as soon as possible.
