Replacing the Intercooler

Removing the intercooler

(1)

Remove the hose and heat protection plate
(leading to the turbocharger) from the
intercooler.

(2)

Remove the hose (leading to the intake mani-
fold) from the intercooler.

(3)

Remove the intercooler from the support (4
mounting points.

Replacing the intercooler

(1)

Mount the airscoop to the intercooler (6
mounting points).

(2)

Mount the intercooler to the support bracket (4
mounting points).



Note:

Disconnect the ground cable (rear right rubber mount) from the
intercooler.



Note:

Make sure to attach the ground cable (right rear) in this step as
well.
Remove the anodic coating around the contact area of the
ground cable on the cooler. Apply protective paint after the
assembly.
