6. Inlay trays
It is possible to rotate the inlay trays by 180°, thereby reducing the corresponding height.
7. Initial use
1. The dehydrator trays must be clean and wiped with a cloth before using them for
the first time.
2. Place the prepared food items on the desired trays. Then place the trays correctly in
the dehydrator and put the lid on the appliance.
3. Note that the strong aromas from some food items may be transferred to other food
items. This may adversely affect the taste.
4. Connect the power cord to the appliance and press the “ON/OFF” button. The
appliance switches on.
5. Select the desired temperature and duration using the “UP” and “DOWN” buttons.
You can switch between temperature and duration using the “SET” button.
Depending on whether you want to set the temperature or duration, either a time-
symbol or a thermometer-symbol is shown next to the display.
6. Once the food items are dried completely, the appliance switches to standby mode. You
will hear two beeps. Disconnect the mains plug to switch off the appliance completely.
7. Clean the drip tray and the liquid collection chamber after drying.
Note: For smaller food items to be dried, we recommend the use of fine-mesh
inlay mat.
