A
USB port
Use this to input digital audio from a computer. Connect it to a
computer’s USB port.
Use a commercially available USB Type-C cable for
connection.
ATTENTION
Before connecting a computer that is running a Windows
OS, you must install the dedicated driver on the computer
(page 30).

COAXIAL/OPTICAL digital audio input connectors
Use these to input digital audio. Connect digital audio output
connectors of audio devices here.
Use commercially-available RCA coaxial digital cables or
rectangular optical digital cables for connection.

12V TRIGGER connectors
Use these to control power from an external source.
Do not connect anything to these connectors when not using
them (page 10).
Use commercially-available mono mini plug cables for
connections.

Analog audio output (LINE OUT) connectors
These output 2-channel analog audio. Connect these XLR or
RCA connectors to a stereo amplifier or powered speakers.
Use commercially available cables for connections.

Connect this unit’s R connector to the R connector of the
amplifier and its L connector to the L connector of the amplifier.

Use commercially-available RCA coaxial digital cables or
rectangular optical digital cables for connection.

CLOCK sync input (10MHz IN) connector
Use this connector to input 10MHz clock synchronization sig-
nals (page 35).
Use a commercially available BNC coaxial cable for
connection.

When the input source is COAXIAL or OPTICAL, both this unit
and the digital audio output device must be synchronized
with the same external clock. If they are not synchronized, the
sound might skip or break up.

Power inlet (~IN)
Connect the supplied power cord here.
After all other connections are complete, connect the
power cord’s plug to a wall outlet.

Do not use any power cord other than the one
included with this unit. Use of other power cords
could result in fire or electric shock.

Disconnect the power plug from the outlet if you
will not use the unit for a long time.
