Adjustments and operations

Fertilizer

failure

• Clogged hoses, strange object

on the fertilizer metering threads.

• Unobstruct the fertilizer hoses or remove the

upper chute that leads to the auger, turn the

axle until the strange object is out.

• Blocked auger with moist fertilizer

or strange object.

• Unobstruct the fertilizer metering threads.

Seeds failure

• Unadjusted selectors.

• Adjust them properly.

• Small hole diameter.

• Use a seed plate with an adequate hole to

the desired seed.

• Excessive working speed.

• Ideal speed: 5 to 7 km/h.

• Strange object.

• Use seeds that were at least pre-cleaned.

• No seeds on the metering.

• Check the deflector plate opening;

• Closed or semi-closed interruptors.

• Worn out selectors.

• Replace the selectors.

• Dirty selectors.

• Clean using water/detergent and steel wool.

• Obstructed holes.

• Clean them using compressed air.

Doubles

• Disajusted selectors.

• Adjust them properly.

• Great hole diameter.

• Use a seed plate with an adequate hole to

the desired seed.

• High level of seeds.

• Adjust the deflector plate.

Seeds over the

soil

• Excess of seeds on the

metering/high level.

• Check the deflector plate opening/adequate

it to the seeds size.

Irregular

plantation

• Totally disadjusted seed plate. • Adjust the hole diameter according to the

desired seed.

• Disajusted selectors.

• Check the PTO rotation;
