Adjust the seed rate per linear meter through the sprocket combinations of the Drive

shaft

Procedures to change the sprocket

Adjustments and operations

• See the different amounts of fertilizer distributed for several spacings,

according to the sprocket combinations.

• The fertilizer distribution tables of this manual must be used as a

reference to start the planter adjustment.

• Factors such as the slippage index of the planter wheels (skidding),

working speed, tire inflation, field conditions, seed type and others

can make the values differ from the ones in the table. Therefore, it is

always indispensable to check the 'Practical test of seeds and fertilizer

distribution' page ('Adjustments and operations' section).

IMPORTANT

• Never let the pin (E)

on transport position

during working, as this

may cause damages

to the equipment.

Remove the cover (A) from the wheelset arm by loosening the butterfly nut, flat and

spring washers.

Move the lever (B) to relieve the chain tightener and lock it using a pin.

Change the sprockets from the drive (C)

and driven (D) shafts by removing the elastic

pins if necessary.

Release the lever to loose the lock pin.
