Excavating compacted soil:
To begin excavating compacted soil, it will be necessary to reduce the entry
angle of the bucket into the ground (teeth must be inclined). It will also be necessary
to apply downward pressure with the arm.
Demolition:
To demolish an excavation, lower the extended bucket into the pile of earth.
Pull up the bucket and raise it until it is free of the pile of earth. Turn the unit towards
the trench and extend the bucket. Return the unit to the pile of earth and continue
the cycle until the work is completed.
Important: AVOID DRAGGING OR HITTING THE LOADED BUCKET AGAINST THE PILE OF
EARTH. THIS COULD CAUSE PREMATURE WEARING OF THE BOLTS AND AXLE
BOX OF THE TATU BACK HOE.
