• Remove the fertilizer hoses, and wash them immediately, only with water and neutral
soap.
• Wash the whole machine with water only.
• Wash the fertilizer augers with special attention, in order to remove any adherences.
• Verify if all the rotating parts of the planter not showed occurrence. If necessary,
make the replacement of the parts. By leaving the equipment ready for the next
planting season.
• Repair the painting failure of the machine.
• Spray the metallic parts with protective oil, never spray with used engine lubricant
oil.
• The transmission chains should be removed in the end of planting season, cleaned
and stored in a recipient with protective oil until the next planting season.
• Clean and lubricate all the grease fittings.
• Replace the safety stickers which are missing or damaged. Marchesan supplies these
stickers upon request and mentioning the respective codes. The operator must know
the meaning and the need to keep the stickers in place and in good conditions, the
operator should also be aware of the hazard offered by the lack of safety and the
increase in accidents when those instructions are not kept.
• After making all the repairs and maintenance's cares, store the planter in appropriate
place, that is, dry and covered place.
• Maintain the planter properly supported and avoid the contact of the double discs
and tires directly in the ground
