• Remove the cover (A) from the arm of the transporting wheel, releasing the wing

nuts (B) and flat washers.

• Move the lever (C) to relieve the chain tensioner and lock the lever with the cotter

pin in the provided hole.

• Change sprockets, the driving

shaft (D) and the driven shaft

(E), removing the elastic pins (F)

according to the requirements.

• Free the lever, releasing the

cotter pin.

Adjustments and operations

The number and size of holes and slots of the seed plates, as well as their thickness,

vary depending on grain size and the desired amount.

 The amount of seed per linear meter can be modified by the driving shaft gears

{D}

(14, 18, 22, 26, 30, 34, and 38 teeth), and

{E}

driven shaft (14, 18, 22, 26, 30, 34, and 38

teeth).

• You can see on the following pages the different amounts of seeds

distributed for numerous crops, according to the sprockets change.

• The correct adjustment of the discs with the seed used is essentially

importance.

• Never mix seeds of different dimensions.
• The distribution tables of seeds and fertilizer in this manual should

be used as a reference to start regulating the planter. Factors

such as the planter tire sliding rate (slippage), working speed,

tire pressure, conditions of the terrain, type of seed, etc., can

result in values which differ from those indicated in the tables. It

is therefore essential to carry out practical distribution tests, as

shown on page 29.
