Preparing for work
Powder graphite should be mixed with the seeds to make distribution easy and increase
the life cycle of the distribution assembly.
• Graphite should not be mixed before seed treatment.
• Graphite should not be mixed into insecticide for application in the seeds.
• For untreated seeds, use only half the amount of graphite mentioned in the previous
table.
The seed ejectors comprise keys, supports, and rollers which must be
cleaned internally at least once a day for untreated seeds; and twice a day
to plant treated seeds.

The number of seed plates provided with each planter is the same as
the number of row units.
IMPORTANT
OBS.
The housing of the seed plate with
seat is 8.5 mm. The thickness of
the seat should always complete
8.5 mm, however:
• If using a 4.5 mm thickness seed plate,
the seat should be 4.0 mm.
• For a 5.5 mm thickness seed plate, use
a 3.0 mm seat.
• For an 8.5 mm thickness seed plate, do
not use seat.
