AIR FILTER & SPARK PLUG
MAINTENANCE
AIR FILTER :
The air filter element should be
periodically cleaned.
Always use a genuine air filter
element.
The air filter is located on the LH side
of the engine compartment.
a) When a vehicle is driven under
dusty conditions, frequent
cleaning and replacement of the
air-cleaner element is
necessary.
b) Blow air from inside to outside
while cleaning the air cleaner
element.
Clogged air-cleaners
lead to greater intake resistance
and result in increased fuel
consumption. Using low
pressure compressed air, blow
off dust on the air cleaner
element. If the air cleaner
element appears to be choked,
replace it with a new one.

Champion RC10YC
Electrode Gap : 0.8 to 0.9 mm
0.8-0.9 mm
CAUTION
Tighten the spark plug carefully.
Overtightening can damage the
threads in the cylinder head. It can
affect combustion and cause
damage to engine and catalytic
converter.
