second call, which was on hold till then. To activate
the previous call, follow the same step.
Conducting a Conference Call
When in an active call, you can connect an additional phone
number to create a conference call between the contacts.
You can create a conference call by either dialling to an
additional number or by accepting a new incoming call.
To create a conference call by dialling additional number:
1. In the active call screen, press the button.
The system puts the active call on hold and displays
the in-call Options menu.
2. In the in-call Options menu, navigate to and select the
Add Call option. The displays the Add Call submenu
with options to dial the additional number from the
Contacts, Call Log or Dial (Keypad).
3. Follow the steps listed in the Making an Outgoing
Call section for dialling a number using the various
options. The system initiates an outgoing call for the
selected number.
4. In the new call screen, press the button. The
system displays the Options menu with options to
handle the 2 calls (one on hold and one new call).
5. In the Options menu, navigate to and select the
Merge option. The system merges the 2 calls to create
a conference call. The first call is activated before
merger.
