6.5.2 STREAM STRAIGHTENERS WITH FOG NOZZLES
When using a fog nozzle it is
recommended that no stream
straightener be used since the fog
nozzle's flow path generally serves
as a stream straightener. Use of a
stream straightener with a fog nozzle
will increase the stresses on the
monitor's gear train and may lead to
premature wear.
