General Settings 

You can adjust different preferences for the display and operation of your 
device. These are units of measurement for distance and time, the guidance 
voice, the volume and the display of the on-screen keypad. 

3.11.1 

Adjusting the Volume 

You can adjust the volume for the voice instructions and warnings. Tap on the 
display to open the GPS main menu. 

 

The maximum volume of the voice instructions for navigation can 
be adjusted to the maximum value of the system volume only. If 
the voice instructions are too low despite a high volume setting, 
check the system volume adjustment (see page 114).
