* Minimum height from the fl oor to center of
the opening with a maximum horizontal run of
18" using TC vent. The height will need to be
increased with a longer horizontal run.
Vent pipe:
Install vent pipe through the wall thimble and attach to fl ue
outlet collar on top of the fi replace. Secure all joints with
screws and seal with approved "High Temp." self-adhesive
aluminum tape provided.
The fi replace position may need to be adjusted to ensure
that the vent pipe does not protrudes beyond the outer
wall or be recessed any more than 12 inches.
Wall vent terminal:
1) Engage
the

" vent collar with the vent pipe and slide
terminal into place. Attach the terminal to the outside
wall.
The vent terminal must not be recessed into the
exterior wall or siding.
2) Caulk in place to prevent any moisture entering the build-
ing.
NOTE: MINIMUM CLEARANCES TO THE VENT TERMINAL
MUST BE MAINTAINED (see Fig. #17).
