BakStor User Manual

7 Maintenance

7.1 Update Code

The firmware in the BakStor can be upgraded can be upgraded to accommodate new features.

Place the file containing the upgraded firmware in a directory on your computer.

On the BakStor, choose Maintenance ? Show license info

Choose "Browse" and locate the file containing the firmware. Then choose "Send File" to
transfer the file to the BakStor.

Figure 7-1 Sending an upgrade file to the BakStor

Browse allows searching of local system for updated firmware file.

Note: During the upgrade the webpage should not be refreshed. When the file is completely
transferred a new page will appear with instructions to go to the main page and perform a
reboot of the BakStor.
