Installation Procedures

We have prepared this Instruction Manual on the assumption that our S-Stage had already been installed.
Please install this FI Controller in reference to this Instruction Manual but only after the installation of S-Stage Kit.
１．
Make sure the motorcycle is secure on the side stand
on level ground for safety’s sake during installation.

In reference to the genuine service manual, unfasten
the seat bolt and collar, and demount the seat by
pulling it backward.

Demount the genuine ECU from the stay installed on
the upper part of the genuine air cleaner box under
the demounted seat.
５．
Install a stock ECU back onto the stay for an air
cleaner box as it was originally installed.

Remove R. side cover.

Demount an inlet duct, made of rubber, on the upper
side of the genuine air cleaner box.

Connect FI Controller and bullet terminals. (See the following chart)

Connect coupler of sub wire harness-1COMP. to the injector.
Connect coupler of sub wire harness-2COMP to 2P coupler of stock wire harness.

Tie the harnesses of the FI controller and the vehicles in a bundle with a supplied
Insulation lock, and place the FI controller in the place where rain or water does not
get into it like inside the side cover.
In installing the controller as above, please use a supplied Velcro.
５．
Make sure the wires are connected correctly again.
Turn on the ignition switch.
Please check that after turning on the switch, the green and red LEDs on the switch
opening light up and that the red LED goes out in about one second.
CAUTION : As we switch on all the controllers before shipment from our factory, in
case the LEDs do not light up as mentioned above, the wrong wiring
can be the cause.
Immediately turn off the ignition switch, and check if there is no
wrong wiring.
６．
Install the seat and R. side cover in reverse order of removal.
CAUTION : Be careful NOT to pinch the wire harness of FI controller with seat or
frames.

Connect the FI Controller

Fix the ring terminal of ground wire in the kit and a band clip at the same ground point
at the right-side of the frame.
