upgrading the

V32R’s software

One of the most flexible aspects of the AV32R ‘Dual Processor’ is that its complete software is
stored in re-programmable memory. Details of future upgrades are published on

www.tagmclaren.com

The AV32R ‘Dual Processor’ can be re-programmed by connecting a suitably equipped and
configured PC using the TAGtronic Programming Cable (option).

Preparation work, necessar y before you can start

• The PC is connected to the

TAGtronic Bus

connectors,

located at the rear panel, using the universal TAGtronic
Programming Cable, an optional item not included with
the AV32R ‘Dual Processor’

In order to upgrade your AV32R ‘Dual Processor’ with the latest software you need to have
the following items available:

1. A suitably equipped PC to interface with the AV32R ‘Dual Processor’ - A full (not so

called legacy) RS232 interface is required

2. The universal TAGtronic Programming Cable, available from the on-line shopping section

www.tagmclaren.com

3. The TAGtronic Upgrade Wizard Version v2.15 or later, available free of charge from

www.tagmclaren.com

. The Wizard must be installed before you can download

successfully any software upgrades! For full details see

4. The AV32R ‘Dual Processor’ software you

would like to download to your AV32R
‘Dual Processor’. This can also be
downloaded free of charge from

www.tagmclaren.com

You need to double click the software,
which comes as an .exe file, to unpack it
and register it with the Upgrade Wizard.
