Emerald ICE HD Voicemail Installation Manual

Backup

Restor

The

backup

procedure

for

each

type

device

illustrated

below.

Once

the

backup

procedure

for

given

device

has

begun,

the

software

will

prompt

the

user

for

any

required

input.

All

the

procedures

have

built

‐

error

control

logic

case

parameter

entered

incorrectly.

After

the

Backup

complete

turn

off

the

system

power,

disconnect

the

Backup

device,

and

then

‐

start

the

Emerald

ICE

Voicemail

system.

External Drive Unit

Step

‐

exit

the

Voicemail

system

DOS:

Press

the

Status

screen

and

enter

the

system

password

(default

1234).

Press

for

System

Shutdown.

Press

either

desired.

Step

‐

activate

the

device:

Connect

the

ZIP/JAZ

drive

cable

the

parallel

port

connector

located

the

front

the

card.

Connect

the

power

cord

the

ZIP/JAZ

drive

‐

the

power

light

should

come

on.

Insert

the

desired

ZIP/JAZ

disk

into

the

drive.

Type

\IOMEGA

and

press

the

key.

Type

GUEST

and

press

the

key.

The

GUEST

program

will

assign

drive

letter

use.

i.e.

Make

note

the

drive

letter

assigned

the

device.
