Connecting the TAC Xenta 555 to 
Your Network

The Xenta 555 integrates with your building control system by commu-
nicating across the Ethernet using TCP/IP transport protocols.

The Xenta 555 can connect directly to a MicroNet controller LAN (or a 
Satchnet controller LAN) and also to the Ethernet. Using the Xenta 555, 
you can access your MicroNet system from a web browser on any PC 
connected to the Ethernet.

Note

Before you connect the Xenta 555 to your network, assign it an IP 
address and load its software. Refer to 

TAC Xenta Server, Technical 

Manual

 for the necessary instructions.
