Open the RackStation by removing the top cover.

Loosen the two screws on the back of the model holding the top cover of
the chassis by turning them counterclockwise.

Remove the top cover by firmly grasping the thumb grooves and pulling in
the direction indicated below, and put the top cover aside.
Note:
When you remove the top cover, you expose sensitive internal
components. Avoid touching anything other than the items indicated in the
following steps.
