Chapter 3: Install DSM on RackStation
Confirm Connection and Manage Storage

Login to the DiskStation Manager (DSM) of the RackStation unit.

Go to
Main Menu
>
Storage Manager
>
Overview
to confirm the expansion
unit(s) are successfully connected.

Go to
RAID Group
on the left panel to manage storage space creation or
expansion.
•
If you want to create a new RAID group, click
Create
and follow the wizard
to complete the creation.
•
If you want to expand an existing RAID group, select the RAID group you
want to expand from the group list, click
Manage
>
Add Disk
and follow
the wizard to complete the expansion.
