When communicating over TCP/IP networks, E10s are not restricted to talking only to 
other E10s.

Internally, E10s are running Synapse's SNAP Connect software, and can talk over TCP/IP 
to other computers that are also running the SNAP Connect software. See 

Figure 2-4

.
