Inserting/Replacing the Bulb
If a defective bulb must be replaced, disconnect the spotlight from the mains
voltage
fi
rst; pull the mains plug out of the socket.
Then allow the ground spotlight to cool down completely. Attention, risk of
burns!
Only insert or replace a bulb in dry conditions or in a dry indoor space so that
humidity (e.g. rain) cannot penetrate the product!
• Open the front cover of the ground
spotlight. For that purpose, a total
of 4 screws must be unscrewed.
Then remove the cover carefully,
do not damage the protective
glass!
•
If required remove the defective
bulb.
• Afterwards, insert a bulb of type
“PAR3” with E27 screw thread and
a power rating of max. 100 W.
•
Re-assemble the spotlight in re-
verse order; observe the correct po-
sition of the sealing!
• Then, connect the ground spotlight to the mains voltage and check that the new
bulb is working.
Connection
• Plug the IP44 mains plug into a mains socket.
When using the product outdoors, make sure to use a suitable IP44 mains socket.
The mains socket to which the ground spotlight is connected must be protected on
the sub-distribution board by a 10/16A fuse. An earth leakage circuit breaker must be
installed before this (FI protective switch).
• If an extension cable is used for connection, the extension cable must be suitable
for outdoor use and must be equipped with IP44 plug, as well.
Warning
!
Lethal hazard due to electric shiock, if unsuitable sockets or extension cables
are used outdoors!
Maintenance and Care
• The ground spotlight requires no servicing on your part apart from occasionally re-
placement of the bulb.
• Before cleaning, disconnect the mains plug of the ground spotlight from the power
supply. To do this, pull the mains plug out of the socket. Then allow the ground spot-
light to cool down completely.
• The exterior of the spotlight should only be wiped with a clean, soft, dry cloth. Do
not use aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions that could damage the
housing (discolouring) or impair operation.
To remove persistent stains, moisten the cloth with water.
Do not press too hard on the housing, as scratches might appear. Never direct the jet
of a garden hose or a pressure washer at the ground spotlight!
Disposal
Dispose of an unserviceable product in accordance with the relevant statu-
tory regulations.
