Connection
The camera is equipped with a connection cable with two plug connections
at the end:
• BNC connector:
With this the video signal (PAL) is available. Use an
adapter if you do not have a BNC cable for this connection.
• Circular socket:
At this socket the external power supply is to be con-
nected. It should be noted that only a stabilised mains adapter with an
output voltage of 12V= (direct current) is used.
Observe the correct polarity of the plug. Inner contact = Plus/+, outer
contact = Minus/-, otherwise the camera will be damaged, and you
lose guarantee/warranty!
Set the correct input channel at the display device to have the image of the
camera displayed.
Setup of the display detail or focus control
The two swivels at the camera lens allow adjustment of the display detail
and of the focus.
• Front swivel: Zoom
• Back swivel: Focus setting
Check the settings of the camera at the connected display device. If the
range of focus of the back swivel is not suf
fi
cient, slowly adjust the front
zoom-swivel until the image is focused again.
Cleaning
Occasionally clean the camera from dust and dirt, especially the front lens.
Use a dry, clean and soft cloth, moistened with water. Do not rub too much
to avoid scratch marks on the glass lens, deteriorating the image quality.
Disposal
Electrical and electronic products do not belong to the household
waste!
When disposing of an unserviceable product, do so in line with
the relevant statutory regulations.
