16. “Recording settings” submenu
a) “Recording settings” function
The monitor/DVR can make recordings either time-controlled (e.g. only on weekdays from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM),
via motion detection (if the video signal image content of the wireless camera changes) or manually (by pressing
a button).
The programming of the periods for the time-controlled recording is described in section 16. B); motion detection
sensitivity setting can be found in section 16. c).
Proceed as follows:
• Briefly press the “MENU” button (3, 31) on the monitor/DVR or the IR remote control to display the main menu.
•
Use the “ ” or “ ” button to select the “Recording settings” submenu and briefly press the “ ” button (6, 34).
• Use the “ ” or “ ” button to select the “Recording settings” function and then briefly press the “ ” button
(6, 34).
• You can now use the “ ” or “ ” button to select one of the four channels (“Camera 1”, “Camera 2”, “Camera 3”
or “Camera 4”).
• Set the desired function for each of the wireless cameras using the “ ” or “ ” button.
- “Time schedule”: Time-controlled recording
- “Motion”: Motion detection recording
- “MANUAL”: Manual recording with a press of a button
• Confirm the setting by briefly pressing the “ ” button (6, 34).
The monitor/DVR then switches back to the previous menu. If you want to set a different recording function
for another channel, proceed as described above.
• To go back one menu level or to exit the OSD menu, briefly press the “MENU” button (3, 31) on the monitor/DVR or
the IR remote control (multiple button pressed may be needed).
