Your answering machine is equipped with a vocal operator guidance.

Opening the Settings menu
The answering machine is operated via the handset. The answering machine
settings are adjusted using the handset.
Open the main menu

Key function assignment in the Ans Settings menu
If you open ** Höre ** in Ans Settings menu you can change the answering ma-
chine settings. The following table provides an overview of the respective func-
tions assigned to the individual buttons in the Ans Settings menu.

Delete the outgoing message during playback
Select the answering mode:
outgoing message 1 or 2 (announcement only)
Play the outgoing message currently active
Record the outgoing message 1 or 2 (announcement only)
Switch the answering machine on/off
Set the number of rings before call is taken /
End recording of outgoing message
Exit the Ans Settings menu

Exit the Ans Settings menu and return to Standby mode
