Camera: VCA - Intrusion Detection (cont.)
1. Draw Quadrilateral:
A quadrilateral is a polygon with four sides and
four corners (basically a square shape). Click this button then using the
mouse, you need to create four points to draw an intrusion region (it can
be drawn at any size within the image). Your DVR does not allow lines to
be crossed when drawing an intrusion region.
As an example, click once at the start point then move right and click
once to create the second point. Move the mouse down and click once to
create the third point then move left and click once to create the fourth
point (see above right example).
2. Full Screen:
Click this button to automatically draw a full screen in-
trusion region.
3. Clear:
Click this button to clear the selected intrusion region.
When finished, click the “Apply” button to save settings.
Please note:
It’s very important that you change the recording
schedule for the camera you’ve selected, otherwise VCA motion
events will not be recorded - see page 24 for more information.
Up to four intrusion regions can be drawn at any size,
giving you flexibility on how motion is detected.
