manner. The service life of these parts is only a few hours of cutting time and
is strongly dependent on following the correct principles when cutting.
Notice
1. When the air pressure is low, control indicator
E13
on the control panel
lights up and further operation is blocked.
2. If the machine overheats during cutting, error message
E02
on the control
panel will illuminate and its further operation will be blocked.
3. Disconnect the machine from the mains before replacing the burner parts.
4. Disconnect the machine from the mains before carrying out any work
inside the machine.
5. The machine is adapted for use with Plasma Torch SVH-125. In this
combination, it forms a safe system in accordance with ČSN EN 60974-7,
Article 10.1.4. The use of any other type and design of burner must be
consulted with ALFA IN a.s.
6. SVAROG 105 PLASMA must not be connected directly to a pressure
source higher than 8.5 bar or to cylinders! Connection to such sources is
only possible via a suitable pressure reducing valve, which is tested for the
corresponding inlet pressure and flow.
7. Incomplete trapping of condensate will cause its condensation in the
burner nozzle area and will prevent the pilot arc from igniting.
THE MOST COMMON MISTAKES IN MACHINE CUTTING
Insufficient penetration of the cut, when cutting there is an excessive
amount of sparks on the upper side of the sheet. Possible causes:
1. The sheet has a dirty surface from rust or paint.
2. Consumables are worn. For optimal machine cutting, replace electrodes
and nozzles at the same time.
3. High cutting speed.
4. Current is set too low.
5. Large material thickness and improperly selected value of cutting current
and nozzle diameter.
Bad el. contact between the grounding clamp and the material.
The pilot arc will run, but there will be no ignition
1. There is poor electrical contact between the cut sheet and the ground
clamp.
2. Torch cutting height too high.
The cutting arc is unstable, goes out and „shoots“
1. Worn nozzle or electrode, replace both.
2. High air pressure.
3. Polluted air.
4. Uncaptured water condensate.
