REASSEMBLY

• When rebuilding the crankshaft, the width between the weds

should be within the standard range.

Crank wed to wed width

: 48.9 – 49.1 mm

OIL PUMP

DISASSEMBLY

• Remove the circlip

, washer

, oil pump driven gear

and

INSPECTION

Rotate the oil pump shaft by finger to inspect for abnormal play,
noise and smooth rotation.
If there is anything unusual, replace the oil pump.

REASSEMBLY

• Reassemble the oil pump driven gear in the reverse order of

disassembly.

• When installing a new circlip, pay attention to the direction of

the circlip. Fit it to the side where the thrust is as shown in the
illustration.

MOVABLE DRIVE FACE

SPACER INSPECTION

• Remove the spacer.

Check the spacer for any damage or wear.
If any defects are found, replace the spacer with a new one.

Do not attempt to disassemble the oil pump assembly.
It is available only as an assembly.
